Calling themselves a “classical jazz ensemble” and “a little brass big band,” Synchronicity is led by flugelhornist Jerry Kroth, a professor at Santa Clara University.

Jesus Diaz y Su QBA combines funk, jazz, rumba, son and Afro-Cuban elements into a modern expression of Cuban music that packs any dance floor. Founded by Cuban-born percussionist Diaz after arriving from Havana in 1980, Su QBA was among the first timba bands to emerge in the U.S. Their album Jardiniero was released in 2003.
