Piano giant Eddie Palmieri has a musical career that spans over 50 years as a bandleader of salsa and Latin jazz orchestras. With ten Grammy Awards and a discography that includes 36 titles, Palmieri is a living legend known for his bold charisma and electrifying performances.

The celebrated musician has received countless awards, including the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences Lifetime Achievement Award, Chubb Fellowship Award, National Black Sports and Entertainment Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Harlem Renaissance Award. Yet another outstanding achievement was Caliente, a radio show hosted by Palmieri on NPR and picked up by more than 160 radio stations nationwide.

Eddie Palmieri has one of the most actively touring salsa and Latin jazz bands around, tours of which have taken him to Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, North Africa, and throughout the Caribbean. A true powerhouse of brilliance, he continues to captivate live audiences.
