Lucas Davis ft. Alan Jones, Junhong Jung and JC Grady

Trumpeter Lucas Davis is a creative musician dedicated to spreading peace and love by sharing his music with audiences across the world.

Lucas is a passionate improviser, performer, and composer in the jazz world, as well as a well-versed classical trumpeter. He has participated in the Colorado All-State Jazz Band during all four years of high school, and has toured the country from coast to coast performing with the Troopers and Blue Coats Drum And Bugle Corps. He currently studies with Mike Rodriguez and Mario Guarneri at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Junhong is from South Korea, now living in San Francisco. He took up the guitar at age 11, inspired by both rock and blues players. By the age of 18 he heard jazz music for the first time in his life and decided to jump into jazz. He moved to San Francisco at age 20, and attended San Francisco Conservatory of Music. There he studied with Julian Lage, Anthony Wilson, and Randy Vincent. He regularly performed with his jazz quartet and funk band in South Korea. He performed weekly at Ritz Calton hotel in San Francisco, and he’s performing every week at various places such as a bar, restaurant, jazz club, etc.

JC Grady is a drummer and composer from San Diego, California. She studies jazz in the RJAM program at San Francisco Conservatory of Music, focusing particularly on her interest in bebop, fusion, and free jazz. Outside of school, they regularly collaborate with artists in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Alan Jones is a 19 year-old Bassist and Composer from Denver, Colorado dedicated to honoring the legacy of Black American Music through performance and composition. He has shared the stage with greats such as Matt Wilson, David Sanchez, Ed Simon, Carmen Bradford, Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, Kristen Strom, and Keith Oxman. Additionally, he studies and performs European Classical Music with groups such as the Symphony of the Redwoods. He currently studies with Matt Brewer and Scott Pingel at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
