Fest Stages

Download Map (PDF)

Summer Fest has grown into one of the nation’s most important live music events, featuring 100+ performances of the best in jazz, blues, Latin, R&B and more. Indoor and outdoor stages provide a variety of environments as well as music and, even with its awesome scale and breadth, the Fest’s tight footprint makes it easy to sample everything.

This year’s Fest is back to full scale with 12 stages, including the full-fledged Jazz Beyond Stage spotlighting some of jazz’s most forward-looking artists in the 21+ Continental Bar, and the PG&E Silicon Valley Stage, returning to the Club Regent inside the newly-opened Signia by Hilton San Jose.

Latin Tropical Stage

First and San Salvador Streets
We recently re-christened our longtime salsa venue the Latin Tropical Stage to reflect the wider variety of Latin dance music now being offered there. But it's still the same high energy scene filled with dancers from afternoon into the night. This year, you'll find an SJZ Beverage Booth to help quench your thirst, and most nearby restaurants and bars will be open for service during stage hours. Also, Culture Night Market will be hosting a dedicated music stage between sets at the Latin Tropical Stage, along with a marketplace featuring local artists and craft vendors. Latin Tropical Stage programming is supported, in part, by the Castellano Family Foundation and by grants from Applied Materials Foundation and the Abierto program of the City of San José Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services.
