On Sunday, August 9, Greenberg Traurig hosted the Mayor’s Jazz Brunch, an annual staple at San Jose Jazz Summer Fest. The invite-only event featured community leaders as well as SJZ members, and included an address by San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo in addition to San Jose Jazz Board Chair Robert Griffin. In mid-August, San Jose becomes the epicenter of the jazz universe. What started as a 1-day, one stage affair in 1990 has now grown into a 3-day, 11 stage extravaganza with 100+ performances by 1,000 musicians.
